FBI's Crisis Negotiator Course

The Crisis Negotiation Team of the Buffalo Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is hosting a “40 Hour Basic FBI Crisis Negotiator Course” from


Monday, May 8, 2017 - Friday, May 12, 2017.  This training will take place at the Monroe Community College, Public Safety Training Facility, 1190 Scottsville Road, Rochester, NY; Room 117B.  Classes will begin each day at 8:30 AM and end at approximately 5:00 PM.  Please plan to arrive by 8:15 AM on Monday morning. 


This training curriculum will include classroom lectures, two blocks of “back-to-back” negotiation sessions, as well as four (4) one hour long practical scenarios.  The FBI provides this training to our law enforcement partners free of charge.  Meal costs will be borne by the attendees.
